Sadie

This is Emily Arrow and here she is performing a sweet song she's written inspired by This Is Sadie.

You can read more (including lyrics) at Emily's website here and download a copy of the song for yourself, Also check out some of her other children's-book-inspired songs and see what's on offer in her shop.

Since This Is Sadie was published I've had the privilege and joy of meeting a number of Sadies. Some of them are named Sadie and some of them just are. If you'd like to share a pic of your Sadie you can find me over on Instagram as 123olearyo.

More about the book here on tumblr and a throwback to when it was featured on All The Wonders.

I loved working with Julie Morstad and our brilliant editor, Tara Walker, on this book.  One of the things we took a good deal of time over was the cover image. Because of the way the story opens, we wanted to both show and conceal our main character...and the question became how best to do that. Julie sketched out a few suggestions before we arrived at the fox mask and I think we can agree that we made the right choice.

One of the many reasons to be grateful to Tundra Books is that they made us a fab activity kit.

This Is Sadie available in hardcover and board book (March, 2018):
